Welcome to our home. We want to thank you for taking the time to visit us. You are welcome to browse our pages, meet our family, or contact us for any additional information that we might be able to provide for you. We are Aisling Bulldogs. Aisling is the Gaelic (Irish) word for quest, or a dream.
Our DREAM has long been to be able to offer the world the same joy that we have experienced in sharing our lives with Bulldogs. These amazing animals are by far the most wonderful breed of dogs that we have ever had the pleasure to share our lives with. We are convinced that everyone should be able to experience this unique gift in life.
There is a saying among bulldoggers that our dogs are like potato chips, one is never enough! Once you have your very own bulldog you too will learn that this is a statement of fact! Our QUEST is to continue to improve this breed to its ultimate destiny. We like to think that we are well on our way. Our dogs are healthy, bully, vigorous, and very lovable. Their temperment is ideal for all types of homes from singles to large families. These dogs are wonderful with children as well as all family pets. Our Bulldogs are more athletic, and less prone to the genetic problems that have been known to plague the English. Please understand that we are not trying to put down the traditional "English", they are wonderful dogs. We currently own a beautiful little girl that is English. But the fact is that she cannot do the same things that our other dogs can do. She cannot go outside in the middle of the summer heat and wallow in the yard all day with the kids, she cannot run fast sprints without becoming exhausted or getting overheated, and she doesn't jump over 5 feet in the air from a still stance. As much as we love her and we do very much she has to be treated differently from our other dogs. So for those of you who are looking for an alternative, a more athletic dog that is less prone to certain health issues, and that has a longer average lifespan, without giving up that "BULLY" look and temperment we have what you are seeking. Please feel at home and take a stroll through our site. All of our dogs are registered with the CKC and/or IOEBA.
